Let’s face it you’re not going to come in this app as a guess and win a tournament. I have been beat on the river so many times I’m scared to go near it. Members pay a lot of cash to play on this site. So they will cater to their paying members. Everytime I’m in a all in situation, I have lost on the river with the only card that could beat me. I don’t even have to see the last card I can just leave the table I know the results. But hey it’s not for money so I take it as entertainment.
I watch WPT tours all the time, and this app is so outdated and the tournaments are impossible. Unless you wanna pull out your laptop and wait around for ever to get into anything, and then be randomly booted out for no reason. It’s chaotic and poorly put together. All other annoying ads and commercials between watching WPT makes you think you can somehow get in on tournaments but it’s rigged, full of malfunctions, and when I was actually leading a table, I randomly got booted out with no explanation and no way for me to dispute are re-enter. I’d rather play free apps, or walk into a casino tourney then waste time waiting and having confusing interactions every time I log on.
I got a mailer the other day inviting me to come back. They want to give me a free month of Diamond membership. Reminded me how difficult it was to figure out how to cancel in the first place. Always a sign that the people behind the app aren’t exactly the most ethical operators when they feel entitled to “trap” their members in a recurring subscription. But, since they made the effort, I thought I’d go look at the site again. I wondered if perhaps they had overhauled the old piece of crap. Does not appear so. There are plenty of other reviews detailing all the ways this app is ludicrously bad, so I don’t need to repeat them. Seems WPT is happy keeping it that way.
