3 翻牌前，何时应该用中对子跟注
如果一次加注没有使牌局上的人减少，或者里面已经有超过两个对手，那你就跟注吧。想一想，当你的中等对子在翻牌圈中凑成更高级的套牌后，我会偏向以令人害怕的行动去完成。但你必须清楚，如牌局中有很多对手，你成功的机率就锐减了。
如果你跟注，桌面上来了更大的牌时，你亦只好盖牌。许多玩家用比较弱的，像8-8的牌加注，再加注。更有甚者，他们翻牌圈前的加注让他们过份陷入牌局中，他们频繁下注，再开牌时加注，那个时候如果明显在落后将会非常痛苦。他们好像期望一张8可以奇迹般出现，但几乎不没可能出现这样的结果。
许多玩家会争辩说你应该翻牌前在后位上以中等对子加注，尽管两个玩家跟注。这种观点的确有它的优点。但是，我觉得一次加注不足以将已经跟注的玩家击败。因为这些在跟注者没有再加注，他们手中可能会有一些合理的牌，而想看一看翻牌圈。例如，如果两个跟注者手里有Q-10和同花的A-9，我有T-T，开牌前可能是Q-T有25%的机率会赢、As-9s是31％、我的T-T会有44％的机率。正如这样，我的对手他们加在一起（56％）就比我的（44％）大。

但是，如果你在翻牌前加注，这个对手会一路跟注直到河牌出现，并试着把你追的穷途末路。为什么呢？因为你在翻牌前加注会让他们过于陷入投注之中。当牌局中有两个玩家的时候，在翻牌前跟注有着另外一个很大的益处：你明显鼓励对手。如果在之前那3局的情形下跟注，开牌出现A-6-3，对手有As-9s，他很可能下注，因为一直没人在翻牌前加注。正如这样，他们手里的牌直接就成了，你只要简单的盖牌就行了。
如果你在翻牌前加注，有A-9的德扑圈玩家很可能在开牌时跟你，如果你下注他就加注。结果，你不会知道他或她的牌到底有多大的力量。在开牌前更好的去跟注，让你的对手把你需要的信息给你。
