以下这5点是他提到的SNG游戏中常见的五种错误：
1，早期阶段玩的牌太多
在SNG锦标赛的早期阶段你不应该很松的3-bet，尤其是在低买入的游戏中，因为如果你拿着好牌，你的机会会更好一些，而不只是到头来只和别人在抛硬币。
即使你没有在初期积累太多的筹码，你也可以等到在中后期再出手，在早期玩太多牌是不值得的。
2，成为短筹码时玩得太被动
当你成为短筹码时你往往要多冒些险，因为你的筹码量可能不会支持你等到更好的机会。当你的筹码量是8-10个大盲时你就进入了全下或弃牌模式，平跟/弃牌或者加注/弃牌的策略已经不适用。
3，中等筹码阶段冒不必要的险
当你是中等筹码时，你的目标是淘汰小筹码，避免和大筹码开战。如果你是第二大筹码，你在比赛中有很大优势，但是你还没有充足的资本去冒险，如果你淘汰了一个小筹码，这会帮到你很多。
4，作为大筹码时向对手们施加的压力不够多
作为大筹码，你的目标应该是利用自己的筹码优势对小筹码施压，尽可能多地对他们全下，因为杠杆作用，他们跟注的次数不会太多，这么一来你就可以在没有冒太多险的情况下累积了筹码。
同时，如果小筹码全下，你跟注的范围也不应该太宽。
5，挑战自己Hold不住的级别
这个问题不仅存在于SNG之中，整个扑克圈子里都存在，我建议你只有完全胜任了现在这个级别才去升级。
很多人把一段时间的上风期当成自己已经击败了这个级别的游戏，但实际的情形却不是这样的。
