什么情况下才能用高牌继续买牌？上篇
如何打好高牌首先，我们给高牌定义。高牌是指手中的底牌（也叫起手牌）有一张或两张都比桌面上的所有公共牌大。例如：你有A-K，翻牌（前三张公共牌）是5-7-Q，这时你有两张高牌。你手中的A和K都比翻牌中的三张牌大。
常犯的错误当你有两张高牌时，你有6张可等牌（3张A，3张K）可以成为高对（一把牌中最大的对子），概率是7:1。即使在这种情况下，你的牌相对来说也是比较危险的。因为你的可等牌经常也会是你对手的可等牌，使他的牌比你的牌更大。
初学者最经常犯的错误就是经常拿着手中的高牌买牌买到底。当你有2张高牌时，你只有6张可等牌。然而，有个巨大的问题初学者似乎忘了，你的可等牌并不足以使你的牌成为最好的牌。

判断可等牌数量当拿着高牌买牌时，一个主要的问题是：你的可等牌有可能也是对手的可等牌。举个例子，你的对手在翻牌7-J-6出现后下注，你拿着A-K两张高牌。如果你对手的底牌是A-J, K-J, A-9, K-9, A-5, K-5，你的可等牌会帮助你有高对（最大的对子），同样也会帮助你的对手买到两对，你的牌也只是第二好的牌。
当你怀疑你的对手也同样需要你的口袋德州可等牌时，你就需要减去一些可等牌的数量。最好的计算方法是减去一半你的可等牌数量。所以，根据上面的举例，你的可等牌数量不再是6张，而是3张。如果彩池赔率够，你可以继续。但是你看，如果只有3张可等牌可以买（减去后的），在绝大多数情况下，彩池赔率是不够的。
